Karlene is a mixed-media artist who specializes in painted and digitally drawn Animal Portraits as well as Abstract Paintings in acrylic paint.  She has been creating artwork for over 35 years.  Karlene lives in Upstate NY with her 13 year old child and their rescued cat, Otter, who are endless inspiration for her work. She enjoys working with a varied color palette and the way that light moves through each piece.  Karlene will be painting live and offering limited 4” x 4” custom animal portraits during this pop-up and offering custom orders for larger works.  She uses your favorite photograph of your pet to create these one of a kind pieces.  She will also be bringing her abstract paintings which vary in size to provide a variety of options.  Another one of Karlene’s passions is creating fresh flower arrangements, so she will be offering small fresh flower arrangements great for your kitchen table or as a small gift to a friend or family member.
