Learn the fundamentals of miniature watercolor painting in this beginner-friendly workshop. During this hands-on class, you’ll create your own framed miniature watercolor masterpiece and learn:

 composition basics for small-scale paintings

 essential watercolor techniques

 color mixing

 fine detail work with specialized brushes

You’ll leave with a completed framed miniature painting and the skills to continue practicing on your own. Registration includes all materials, including watercolors, brushes, paper and a frame. Please bring along a couple of reference ideas (example: special object, animal, fruit, flower, or simple landscape) either in digital or printed format. We’ll have time to complete 1-2 small paintings.
